ENERGY: A Growing Need:

In the past two decades, there has been a tremendous increase in the demand for energy all over the world. In India too, energy consumption has grown substantially.

Today, the industrial sector is the single larger consumer of commercial energy, accounting for over 52% of the total energy consumed.

Energy is the major cost input in manufacturing industries. In Paper, Steel, Foundaries, Chemicals, Cement, Synthetic Fibres & Textile, energy cost account for between 15-25% of the total production cost.

In a competitive market scenario where cost reduction is the prime concern of every manufacturer, energy conservation is of paramount importance.

Methodology / Approach:

NITCON provides a comprehensive and integrated Consultancy package in Energy Management through its Team of Engineers which includes industry/ specific Technology Experts as well as specialists in Chemical, Electrical, Thermal, Instrumentation and Mechanical fields backed up by an extensive data bank, library and latest sophisticated instrumentation.

NITCON also imparts training to the client company/s engineering/ production personnel in the specifics of energy conservation.

NITCON's systematic Energy Management Methodology incorporates:

  • Gathering and collating information in its specially designed, "Energy Systems Questionnaire" format, for the unit/ process under study.
  • Analysing and comparing the data with extensive inhouse database available with NITCON.
  • Assessing the present level of efficiency index for energy consumption in the unit/ process.
  • In-depth study of the plant operations, equipments and systems for a generally review of the Energy System to assess the operational efficiency
    and potential for economization.
  • Suggest specific measures for energy saving/ conservation.
  • Assistance to the plant management for implementation of the ONSPOT measures recommended for Energy Savings.
  • Training the operating personnel in the client companies in the specifics of Energy Conservation to enable them to implement the recommendations and for monitoring the progress thereafter.

USE NITCON SERVICES FOR GUARANTEED ENERGY SAVINGS:
